The Nirmala sampradā is a Sikh tradition of scholarship, teaching, and spiritual study.

Its scholars have contributed to the interpretation of Gurbani and to philosophical and historical writing in Sanskrit, Braj, Hindi, and Punjabi.

The tradition traces its origins to Guru Gobind Singh Ji and five Sikhs sent to Varanasi to study Sanskrit and classical learning.
